My friend Dave Zamos won a trip to The Feathered Hook Bed & Breakfast at the Bucks County Trout Unlimited Banquet, which was graciously donated by Jonas Price the owner. So Dave asked me to come along and make a weekend out of it. I couldn't pass up the chance to fish Penns, Pine, Elk and Fishing Creek all located within a few minutes from the bed and breakfast. The breakfast was great and Jonas was a great host. For more information on The Feathered Hook contact Jonas Price at (814) 349-8757 or go to his website www.thefeatheredhook.com.

You will see many an Amish Wagon when you get to Coburn. This area is in
the middle of Amish farms.

We were there in the middle of June, heat wave hit the area and caused Penn's water temperatures to rise.

Dave and I fished Penns Creek where Elk creek came in. With the water
temperatures near seventy degrees on Penn, Elk's temperature was between sixty
to sixty five. The trout on Elk were eager to take a dry fly.

One night Dave and I had dinner at the Millheim Hotel. Monday was Prime
Rib night, our bill for the two of us came out to $30.00 and that was with a
tip. What a deal, two Prime Rib dinners, we each had drinks and dessert.
