Kettle Creek Lodge located in Gods Country, Potter County PA. If you are looking for a great place to relax and fish here it is. When I was president of Bucks County Trout Unlimited I organized our first trip to Kettle Creek Lodge. The fishing was great, the host Steve Benna, went out of his way to make us feel at home.
I've gone back over the years, some things have changed since then, I was able to bring my older son with me and Steve decided to get married. Well him getting married was also a plus for the lodge. Now it has a softer touch to it.
Can't beat the back yard porch, nice place to sit down, relax and sip
your favorite beverage.
Well,
besides the food and great host, the real reason you got to go is the fishing.
I always try to make it back each year just to wet my line. The lodge is
located where Kettle Creek and Little Kettle Creek intersect. The stream
has some of the most beautiful trout in it. Native and hold over brown and
brookies, just waiting to take your fly. Make sure you get your
reservation soon. This place can book up real fast, especially if Bucks
County TU gets a trip together. But don't worry there is plenty of stream
for everyone.
